On the "Complete Guide to American Girl Collecting" website, it says the original pattern for Kirsten's school dress (the one that looks like little division signs) was used until 1999. Well, I have the one with the newer print, the flowers... but I definitley got it before 1999. In 1999 I was 14 and done for the time being with American Girl.. I had to have gotten this dress in 1993 or 1994, 1995 at the absolute LATEST... so is there an error on the site?

You know, I am almost certain as well that they've had that pattern out longer...

That must be a mistake, I've had mine forever, since probably the mid-90s. I want to say they switched the design maybe around early 90s? Anyone know for sure?

There is one currently on eBay that looks like the old print. The seller says it was originally purchased in 1992. Since I most likely got mine in 1993 I could have had one of the first new ones...

The "older" version was changed in 1991. I also have a PC designed dress and it is the "current" looking calico pattern.
